This is a WW2 museum of a German artillery entrenchment. The gunnery has been replaced with a nice cafe. The pancakes are great btw. For a fee you can enter the lower levels of the complex. It's interesting and informative and worth the effort. There is parking available at the top. You don't have to park at the lower lot and walk up. The remains of one of those insane WWll military installations by the Germans. They view up there is great, though. Although I doubt they built that thing for the view in the first place. Very cool place if you are into ww2 history. There are multiple guided tours into the tunnels on Sunday after 11am. Any other day, you have limited access into the main turret and some rooms. Sunday 100 NOK per person, any other day 60 NOK. There is a parking next to the main road but then you have to hike 2.7 km. You can also take the car all the way up, there is another parking. I recommend to walk left from the main turret into the forrest. There are trenches, bunkers etc. to explore. Nice view. Organized tours through underground tunnels with lot of history from worlds war. Restaurant offers coffee and kind of pancakes. Easy accessible for children, wheelchair etc. It was an very amazing experience with lots of great historical building, the only real problem is the expensive food that you can find in the hub. Overall, nice hike and cool buildings Excellent experience, breathing views. below, in my humble option, would not make a good 3 month stay (stay with your guild). Overall, it was an excellent experiences I loved the cafe. Educational place with an interesting history. Unless a guided tour is available, the exhibition is quite limited. Bunker is closed and it is not allowed to visit it. A closed gate blocks the street. So you would have to walk around 5 km from the car park to get to bunker. Not worth it.
