Wonderful What can I say about Yeadon tarn, wow. If your a fisherman this the place. Nice walks nice area, free parking, children's play ares, cafe, ice cream van. You an also buy bird food and feed the swans etc. Please don't feed the birds bread. Passes a couple of hour away, please go and enjoy... Well surfaced path around the parameter of the Tarn. There were ducks, swans and other birds to see in the Tarn. There was also a wildlife pond to attract Dragonflies. Nice place to go for a walk, there is usually an ice cream van either in one of the car parks or by the play park. If you join the sailing club then you can also rent boats for the also. Boring, soulless. Decent size car park, very short of about 10-15 minutes. Plenty of seats so good for the elderly or immobile. Flat, circular walk, plenty of dog walkers, picnic benches, area to feed the ducks, small playground for children. Sorry to not be more positive but not worth returning. Lovely place for a while being able to watch the planes taking off at the airport. It does get very busy depending on the weather. Great place for a walk, nice circuit around the lake. Ground is very flat and even so good for skating as well. Lots of fishing spots, close to Yeadon itself. Has parking at the top end, and there is also a fair amount of street parking nearby. Can see and the planes taking off rumbling along the back of the which is cool as well. A truly wonderful day. Living so close I often go there, and taking lots of photos. There's plenty of cafe's down Yeadon high street. Always a pleasant aspect around the tarn. I should say this is wheelchair accessible, paths are hard surface. Views of planes taking off at one end if you're interested. You can extend a by going down Haw Lane.
