There’s a couple of car parks one at each end of the walk, we tend to at the one between the two reservoirs where there’s toilets and a coffee/ice cream van. There’s decent and usually space, on New Year’s Day it’s very busy and you may need to wait or find somewhere else to park. The is great all nice paths and great scenery. Dogs love it and there is a spot where sheep are in the next field and some of the wall is low so worth keeping your dog on a lead around there if they’re likely to chase them. When you finish you can head back over the bridge back to the car or start the around swinsty which is just as nice but a bit smaller. Fascinating place to visit at the moment as the water is so low. Beautiful walk, did it by accident, we meant to do swinsty as shorter but my 90 year old mum managed the 4.5 miles Beware of parking. Few weeks later hit with a fee and they are making it very difficult to appeal even tho we still have the car ticket obtained by their machine and proof of payment on bank statement.
