Nice domain, but the shacks usually have broken or missing stuff. The pool table is also in a very bad state. Pool is very clean and enjoyable. Great place for celebrating in family or large group of friend, they got a huge facility. The place is aging a bit, and rooms looks a bit old, but if you are here during summer time, the important part is outside building anyway. Your stay begins with a brand new bed bug protection sheet for your bed. It gets worse from there. No appliance actually worked. The shower would only run hot water (in a 40c heat wave) so we informed the owner. The solution - he shut our hot water off! In that heat, not even a fan was supplied, not that it would have worked. If you are tending toward a masochistic vacation where you are completely miserable this is the place. We were given a welcome kit which, no kidding had a half a roll of toilet paper(because none is supplied at 200/night). This place is an embarrassment to the gites of France. It should be inspected and closed. We stayed here under our friends reservation, so my name does not appear on the registry. This is the place, I will never forgot such a horrible experience. J'ai eu la chance de séjourner plusieurs fois au Domaine de Bagard (et j'en reviens tout juste). Perchés en pleine nature, au pied des Cévennes, les gîtes ont tous été refaits, avec goût, sans les dénaturer. La supérette et la guinguette sont des services supplémentaires non négligeables. L'environnement est magnifique. Sauve se trouve à deux pas (auquel on peut se rendre à pied par un chemin ombragé le long du fleuve), et est un superbe petit village du Gard comme on les aime. Vous avez un souci, un besoin, une question...Philippe et Jérôme, les propriétaires, répondent toujours présents et ont un grand sens du service.
