In the beginning (and end - it's a loop) there is a steep part but it's doable. Advice: take a picture of the trail panel (or bring a map) so you know what the waypoints are so you won't get lost. We did the 8km hike ( 10km total in 3 hours) at 7 a.m. because it was going to be 42 degrees that thay. The advantage was that we had the trail to ourselves. Big parts of the trail are covered so it was nice and cool in the shade. The river bed was dry but to us this wasn't a bad thing, it gave us the oportunity to go deeper in the gorge and it was stunning. Make sure to come prepared (fluids and food), especially if you're doing the long hike. Enjoy nature but leave nothing behind. Very nice to see. But in September it was completely dry, no water. Walking on the trail is pretty steep but doable and not too far... Amazing landscape. We did the 8km tour to get to the dolmen. Beautiful nature. It’s a nice and easy walk to the entrance (portail), where the experience is worth the walk already. Walking in the canyon is a bit more difficult if you’re not in good physical shape. Went in the beginning of august, unfortunately everything was dried up leaving only a little of water at the end. On the other hand the walk itself was amazing, had a great time overal. Theres 2 routes already planned out for you. Even with some flaws here and there, i rate this place a 7/10 Very nice and easy decent to the creek. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely hike, be careful in the gorge there were some small rockfalls.
