Something new for us, we loved it, to drive on the same rails as the 🚂 are driving. We take a nice family afternoon for a drive to Bamboosarie and back. The bonus is to see steam engine on the rails in nature. And all for that for just a 12€ per person. We took 2 cars. For better experience 🤪, as the boys need to do exercise by themselves. Great fun and lovely scenery. A fun experience for all the family. No big effort needed to pedal. Some spectacular scenery too plus not expensive either. A lovely way to spend an afternoon. This was great fun! Must admit was a little apprehensive about how strenuous it was going to be but was as easy as riding a bike! And sharing a railway track with a steam made it all the more exciting! It is well organised, with clear instructions and the views are superb. Whilst there is a little bit of waiting at a level crossing it is totally understandable to get everyone through together and the turning around was again great fun. Definitely something to do whatever your age and definitely something we will do again next time we're in France. One of the highlights of our holiday! Great experience, but room for improvement. Why do you need to be there 30min in advance? And does the guide not speak any English? Great nature experience for the whole family. Our two year old loved the and the velo’s. No long wait. Don’t know what people are complaining about in the other reviews. There are security distances between the velo’s: might be because they were at the front of the respective group they rode in. Most time spent waiting, (first a long time to get your bike, then to start peddaling, then at a crossroad for The last bike to catch upp, then to start peddaling, then to turn your bike etc. Etc. Very short distance but on The positive side there were some beatifull weiws. Great experience, for young and old. The cycling is very easy and trip well managed by the staff. Views are amazing and fun to have the steam pass at the turning point. Cool...😉✨ Amazing cycle train. Wonderful scenery, very easy to peddle on the rails. Crossed a few bridges over rivers We stopped half way on a siding to let a steam past. Kids loved it. Took 90 mins there and back Staff were lovely Fairly boring. Lots of waiting around for it to start, for the instructions, for the group to all get to the crossing…. Spent more time waiting than cycling. We called in advance to ask if we could bring our dog in a transport box and were told that was no problem so we placed a reservation over the phone. When we arrived we were told dogs we’re in fact not allowed, no matter if in a box or not even though there was a note (brings dog in a box) on the reservation list. As the staff was not very hepfull we eventually had to leave without any compensation. We lost half a vacation day due to wrong information and lack of service. Very disappointing.
