Informative and sincere friendship park close to Szigetvar where 10th Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Lawgiver historically deceased. Monument in glory of a great rivalry It's great monumentum to Croatian warrior, Duke Nikola Subic Zrinski and Turkish emperor Suleiman... Nikola ( Croatian Leonidas ), didn't want to surrender and he died brave in battle against much much stronger opponent... His glory and bravery will echo in enternity... You find this memorial if you leave Szigetvár towards Mozsgó right next to the road so you won't miss it, it's visible from a far distance on your left hand side. It was erected to commemorate the Szigetvár battle against Sultan Süleyman when the heroic Hungarians fought till their last drop of blood. You see two statues. One is The magnificent Sultan Süleyman's head and his tughra. The other statue is for Miklós Zrínyi who tried to keep the Szigetvár castle till the end. You find detailed descriptions about the history of this battle. Well look after it, kept it clean. Only problem is there is no tap water running. Park je uz potporu R. Turske otvoren 1994. povodom 500. godišnjice rođenja Sulejmana I Veličanstvenog. Tri godine kasnije Turska je dala podići spomenik i Nikoli Zrinskom. Oba poprsja je radio turski kipar.
