Quiet, well maintained national park, ideal for spotting waders, marsh birds etc. Free entry - but would be nice if it opened earlier than 9am. We took the bus 302 straight from Palma to the entrance of the National Park. Super convenient. Short into the visitor centre where you sign in for free. There's three trails, one long and two short, with multiple hides. We saw many species including a Sicilian Warbler, Great Flamingoes, Western Swamphen, Western Marsh Harrier, Cetti's Warbler and a Great Crested Grebe. This place was so peaceful and tranquil, was lovely to around, being in nature.. seeing the birds and butterflies. Hearing the birds singing. Very mindfulness. Clear sigh posted. In the heat of August, this is definitely an early morning or later afternoon activity - it is just too hot, with limited shade. The carpark is small but you can park easily on nearby streets. It is quite a long to get into the information area, although cycling is permitted. There are toilets and a vending machine but no icecreams. Due to the heat, we walked the shortest loop only, stopping at a couple of hides. I was very excited to see flamingos!! The wet lands on the North of Mallorca are worth a visit whether you are into looking at birds or not. Spent a lovely afternoon there. Excellent bird watching experience. Several hides near the information centre with opportunities for close encounters with several different species. Get there for 9am as it can get quite crowded later on. Bring a bike if you want to do the longer trail. Bus stops outside then there is a km to the information centre. Had a lovely long around here with my daughter while on a family holiday. There are a few routes you can choose but we chose the longest route which although it states is roughly a 3.5 hours we took over 5 hours to complete due to stops for pictures etc so not for the faint hearted! Plenty of wildlife to see if you have a keen eye for it and some amazing views! Highly recommended Beautiful place that definitely worth to visit. Be patient, bring water, SPF50 and don’t forget to visit special little houses for birds seeing. Flamingos in the wild were magnificent! Make sure to take enough water as the tracks have high sun exposure Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
