Really excellent school! My partner went here after a less enjoyable experience with another school and it was night and day. To start with, the atmosphere in the school is warm and friendly with JC (the owner) being very easy to talk to. He was honest and didn't try and organise lessons on days with very low wind which some schools try and do. Then, the spot is absolutely perfect to learn in - waist deep water so you can stand everywhere and you're never too far from the edge. To add to the safety, you have a radio so JC can always be in contact with you which helps keep you at ease. For my partner who was a little anxious at the start, this and the spot made all the difference. Finally, each student had their own kite which often isn't the case in group courses and really speeds up the learning process. I would highly recommend! Electric Foil A perfect morning with a great instructor. After a short briefing, I was in the water. Just 45 minutes later, I was standing on the foil. Jean gave me constant instructions via radio. I booked a 1.5-hour solo training session. I highly recommend the Tiki Center! This is the place for water sports! I'll be back! 🤙🏻 Can’t speak highly enough of the Tiki SUP and school. Hired good SUP inflatable boards on two days excellent value. Also had a dock start lesson which was outstanding. Really skilful and understanding teacher for this difficult skill. Terrific staff who are helpful and have perfect English even when I was trying in my best schoolboy French. Five stars and will be back to try foiling next time. Many thanks Mk Had an amazing day! I progressed so much would go back again and again!!! Worth every minute and euro! I learned how to foil in 3 short sessions thanks to the fantastic coaching of JC. Their equipment is top of the line and in perfect condition. Their equipment site is ideal for efficient learning. I had a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to fly again! We stayed in Palavas during August and were keen to learn foiling during our stay. We visited the Tiki Center twice, first to attend the wake foiling course (learning to use the foil board towed by boat in the sea) and secondly to attend the sup course (learning to use the on the inland lake), on both occasions the staff and instructors made us feel very welcome as an English family. The instructors were very knowledgeable about their subject and explained everything in English - they were clear and easily understood. Communication was fantastic and the team messaged us on WhatsApp to arrange times for the sessions (as wind dependent) and were very flexible to accommodate us. We had a great time at the Tiki Center and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we were in the area again in the future. One slight downside for us was the parking, we had a van with roof bars and so were limited to where we could park as most car parks in the area have height restrictions and parking on the road was near impossible. We found that parking at the lake was the best option for us and then walked to the Tiki Center (c. 10 minutes) or port (c. 20 minutes). Appreciate this is outside the control of the Tiki Center, just one to be aware of. We’ll definitely be continuing to learn foiling when we return to the UK. Thanks Tiki Center for a fantastic experience! My teenage children had a fantastic efoil lesson with Tiki Centre. Their instructor explained everything really well and they surprised themselves with what they were able to do. They loved it and would really like to do it again!
