Lovely bar, on the nice sandy beach, good chilled atmosphere.... Wonderful. Visited again this year. Food is fresh and prepared with love and care. Their fresh juices are delicious. People and service superfriendly, even in soaring heat. Just go, you wont regret it. This must be my favourite bar around here. I first visited it about 20 years ago and am so glad it hasn't changed. The owner is incredibly friendly. The service is quick, the selection is and it has a situation right by the beach. Very nice place near the for coffe and drinks, wonderful terrace, very friendly stuff😉👌 We are from America. Our friends from England joined us for a 10 days in Crete. We spent a number of afternoons on the Splash beach. drinks and good food, swimming location. Have come here for many years.... and keep coming back Yes it is Every time we go to Makriaglos it gets better each time, George,Rena and the Splash family are great, nothing is too much trouble, food and drink is fantastic, right on the beach, rooms above Splash are brilliant for us plenty of room nicely furnished, a few minutes walk from other bars and restaurants surrounded by beautiful scenery, 5 stars all round. Been 11 years since we visited Makrigialos and just as good now as all those years ago. A wonderful holiday made even better by George and everyone at Splash Bar. They looked after us superbly and made our 2 week break into something very special. Thank you. We WON'T be waiting another 11 years before we come back again.
