Amazing at the end of a small canyon, the path is easy u walk around 15 minutes .The view while walking is fantastic and when u reach the the sea is so beautiful and usually calm ,very clean and often not crowded. Dont miss if u r close to the area !!! Great secluded with pebbles and perfect for snorkeling. However the path to the a little bit rocky, through spiky plants and sheep farm. I would have loved to see this beautiful if it wasn’t for the treacherous conditions to get there! Everything was fine until google maps took us on a terribly rocky, unleveled, muddy, and did I say rocky (big rocks) road! We decided it would all be worth destroying our rental car for a gorgeous secluded beach. Until the dead-ended at an actual mud pit/farm. The path also went through the goats area, which felt not okay to walk through? It was all too much and felt dangerous. Just fyi if you are thinking about going here—make sure you have the tires for this kind of road!!! Absolutely breathtaking. We’ve been to few places throughout our lives that match this private beach’s beauty. If you can catch it at the right time with a small (or no) crowd, you will have hit the jackpot. Hike is simple. Wife did it in Chaco sandals. No food or drinks around, so bring something with you! Beautiful hidden gem. Crystal clear water and so serene... The hike is not very difficult, I managed just fine with my Birkenstocks. Avoid during the summer weekends as a lot of greek families with young,noisy kids come with their boats and spoil the peace and quiet. Unfortunately my small rental car had a tough time making the trek to this beach. The mud got too thick at the end that I couldn’t make it any further. If you have a rental car or small car in general, I’d avoid the to this beach. Private with almost no people. And unless you can get by boat its a very bad to get there. Its private property but the owner doesnt mind anyone going as long as you close all the gates you open. After that you walk about 1km to the between goats and rocks in no shade. Your reward? One of the most beautiful beaches you will find in crete. Is it worth all that trouble? Yes. No doubt. By far my favourite in Lasithi. Ideal for people who want to avoid crowded places and who don't mind a 15 min hike. Just make sure you don't follow Google maps ' suggested route as you might end up stuck in mud as we did. Instead take the highlighted with the red arrow in the pic below.
