Beautiful little beach. The 8€ for an umbrella (without drinks included) was a bit steep 😏 Pebble beach Lovely little pebble beach, set between two rocky outcrops, so the is relatively calm. There's a nice restaurant situated on the beach, along with toilet facilities and some local produce available to buy (mostly jams). There's also plenty of parking, and it's very straight forward to get to. There are loads of loungers available to rent, at €8 a pair, as of 2023. Like all beaches along the South Coast of Crete (or, at least, all the ones we've found so far), it's pebbles and rocks, not sand, so take shoes/sandals. Nice organized and same time you can come with your stuff too.we paid for two seats and umbrella 8 euros.Fredo 3.50 Euro.water is clean and immediatly getting deep.we enjoyed. Beautiful suggested to us by our hotel owner, he said the locals love to come here so we thought it's gotta be good. Something more than one hour of drive from Agios Nikolaos, a really beautiful cove just down the road, well organised with sunbeds and showers in front of a nice taverna. The here is crystal clear with lots of fish for snorkeling, a bit pebbly but nothing undoable with bare feet. It's hidden from the winds but in the afternoon, even the was as calm as the pan, the wind was strong on the so we went... after a really, really good day in the beautiful water. Nice for snorkling. Not child friendly for small kids that can not swim. Small Stones in the beach. Big Stones, fish and octopus in the sea. 6 euro for sunbeds. Very nice beach! There are two bars there! Set of sun-beds costs 8€! Freddo Cappuccino was nice and club sandwich with fried potatoes delicious! Nice beach, with pebbles so shoes are recommended. you can also rent sunbeds with umbrella or stay directly on the beach. There's also a restaurant nearby, so you can grab various products from there. Great - slightly quieter than nearby Aghia Fotia (which is also lovely). The is mostly coarse grey sand which you will find on most beaches along this coast, but there is a quiet area at the end (away from the taverna) which has larger pebbles. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas outside the taverna if that's your sort of thing. One of the best things about this is that it has REALLY EASY PARKING - there is a large car park quite near to both the road and the beach, and no steep narrow road to drive down whilst hoping no-one is coming in the other direction! The taverna is also nice and has a good range of vegetarian and vegan options.
