Eleftherios Venizelos was a very important Cretan politician, he made Crete part of Greece in 1913, he funded the social security system of Greece as also the Greek national bank. He was elected 7 times as prime minister of Greece. After an attempted coup in March 1935 he left Greece and went to Paris where he died in 1936. Vary nice resort. Good beach nice 2 spools.
