Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. It's more like an ancient agricultural tool museum. Almost nothing(very few) connected to historical events linked to Avram Iancu. 8 lei entrance. The place is easy to reach, right at the main road, the parking might be a problem... the staff was busy at the time we arrived, even it was only 2:00 PM, so they didn't open the even after calling them. Rude personell and not friendly. From outside the building looks good and keeps the tradition of old Apuseni houses. We will try again in a weekend. A beautiful memorial house, well conserved. The guide was very helpful and kind, a great storyteller. Definitely recommend it. Un autentic loc de istorie națională care te face mândru că ești român! Wonderful place, great history, well established museum. Avram Iancu nu a fost sărac, avea casă ,,boierească,, ...cum s-ar spune... A nice old which now is a small with a library and a church (yes, a church). History, patriotism and courage are the words Avram Iancu' memorial describe best. The entrance fee is symbolic and the lady guide has some interesting stories about young, rich and heroic Avram Iancu. The where the so-called Craișorul Motilor, the Saint of Transylvania, the man who fought for the freedom and protection of Transylvania, was born. Avram Iancu The where the so-called Craișorul Motilor, the Saint of Transylvania, the man who fought for the freedom and protection of Transylvania, was born. Avram Iancu Very nice museum. Shows the local traditions and tools from Apuseni Mountains. The guide is a really nice guy. Un loc unde poți simți istoria prin expoziția diversa, un loc unde te poți întâlni cu trecutul. An interesting visit in the history of Transylvania. The ticket price is really low. I recommend the visit if you are passing through the area. I recommend this because it's extremely rich in history, about the tools back then, and lots of documents that were signed or something else. There's also a little notebook there with a pen inside the building, near the tickets, where you can write anything you'd like. I was looking at the pages and saw most teens that came here, wrote their Instagram, likely as a sign that "Hey, I was here!" Overall a great experience, and a unique thing about this is that on the house, there are signs. But not ordinary signs - signs that have braille below the wording. How cool! I was definitely taken aback by this small feature. Here you can also buy small souvenirs, like a cup made out of wood, or a necklace! Thank you! side note: sorry the photos are only in the basement, only then i got reminded I can take photos here :)) This not just a memorial - it is an entire complex reuniting culture, religion and education through it's small library, church and buildings. The main central building is the memorial of Avram Iancu a true lover of the romanian people, who fought and organized battles for the liberation of people under the Hungarian occupation. Nowadays you can admire the old ways a was organized, the that gathers old traditional instruments and clothing that the local people used to work their land, dress themselves or use inside their homes. This place is truly a journey into the past and you should check it out if you are nearby.
