What definitely needs improvement, are the facilities, the showers and toilets looked old already when I've been there 14 years ago and if I'm right they're still the same. So 4 stars for the area and 3 for the cause of the nice owners but please improve the facilities. Wonderful Camping! Great location for canoeing, direct access to 2 lakes. Very affordable Stuga with everything you need. Really friendly and helpful owner, we were impressed. Our stay was wonderful. We used the campsite and also rented canoes here to then explore Lake Lelång further. The staff is really nice. Not everything worked perfect, but all in all we can not complain as the prices are very fair. Awesome campsite! A bit on the expensive side but offering private lake access, a small beach, transfer service, food pickup and a free Sauna😍 Sanitary buildings are not the newest but ok. Situated in a wonderful area, however the sanitary facilities are in a miserable state and the one and only employee was not able to keep up cleaning them. Drains in the showers are clogged, waste baskets in the kitchen spill over, the electric stoves are full of old burned food, the ventilation outlet full of oily lint. Two laundry machines for that huge campground. It is a shame, the last time we have been there 15 years ago, the was smaller and of high quality. It seems, the owners only put emphasis on quantity not quality. Many years ago, this has been a very nice place. But the last times, we stayed there had been a very bad experience. Servicehouses are dirty and stinky, you pay 5 SEK for the shower and you only get cold water. In the peek season, there are lots of Norwegians with big busses, which make party all night. I like Norway and it´s nice people, but not that kind. Quiet nights are very seldom. We had been there for several times, but now much to our regret, we have to choose another in beautiful Dalsland. We also think, that this is not a good business card for Bengtsfors kommun,which all in all is a very good place to stay. We hope, that the owner of the will read this and will change some things. If it will be so, we will be pleased to come back.
