Lovely day out with kids. A small with a £1 entrance for over 2yrs old. Can the animals. Picnic is ok. not the safest but you need to keep an eye on the as equipment not safe at all. Overall enjoyed by all of us. Cute little petting farm. parking, £1 to enter, £3 for a of feed. You can see peacocks, quail, a large variety of chicken breeds from around the world, donkeys, wallabies, pigs, goats, and cattle. Toilet facilities were good, and plenty of sinks to wash hands. Picnic tables available. Very family orientated. Gift shop sells Fruitshoot (very cheap), honey, and fairy items. Thoughtful planting of hedgerows throughout the farm, with sloe, hawthorn and elder. Great little wildlife haven. Staff were lovely, they are very kind and friendly. Great little place for the kids. Only opens on weekends which is the downside of it, great little park to keep active 😃 loads of and you can also buy food to them and a great little shop ☺️ It was my first time here today and we will be back. It’s £1 per person (over 2 years old) and £3 for a of food which lasted us all the way round and half way back again. There are lots of different to see and loads of chickens! My toddler loved it! Highly recommend. My 18 month and 2 and a half year old loved it. It's small enough for them to walk round and big enough for a couple of hours seeing and feeding animals. Incredibly reasonable pricing, £5 for adults and under 2's are free, a good size of is £3. Plenty of parking. Decent range of and the planes from the airport are a bit of a novelty also. Had a lovely afternoon out here today. Small petting which our children really enjoyed. A little with little tikes toys to on. Our toddler particularly enjoyed it. Our older children loved the fact that chickens were roaming all over the place! The perfect way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon. entry and a choice of whether to buy a of food for the at 2.50 a bucket. Lovely set up for with a fairy garden and area. No food here except crisps and pop so bring a picnic. Very nice cheap day out. Lovely place especially to take little ones. Very cheap £1 per person under 2s and can pay for a full 🪣 of for the at £3. Cute shop selling trinkets and gifts. car park. Plenty of wash facilities to wash hands ✋️ gents and ladies 🚺 toliets on site, could do with maintenance. Children and fairy garden also. There is plenty of space to have a picnic, benches available also 😀 I think this place is really good for younger children see some and have a little as well 😀 the manager is really nice to talk to 😀 the price goes to feeding all the so I’m happy to pay £5 to get in 👍 keep up the good work! We’ve been here many times and it has been entry and buy the buckets of food. We went yesterday it’s now £5 per adult and £3 per child plus £3 for food. The is really badly kept, are in filthy, smelly pens full of pooh. There are hardly any animals, full of chickens and geese in tiny pens most of them. Toys are all broken and staff not very friendly at all, well the one that we saw. Once we saw they were charging, we expected it to of at least been cleaned up. Hence to say, we will not be returning again which is a shame Love this place. Great selection of , entry is you just pay for the of food. Staff are lovely and they have a beautiful little shop with handmade wooden trinkets. Nice little with toys and benches. Overall, a lovely place to go with the that doesn't cost hardly anything ! I visited oak tree for the first time today and I won't be coming again or reccomending it to anyone else. most of the water looks like it hasn't been changed in a while or topped up, i noticed some of the are underweight and the chicken pens had way too many in for how big the enclosures were there is no additional food in there enclosures only what visitors them so they was fighting. There are 2 parrots that had no enrichment what so ever no perches just 1 toy. It's very run down and they clearly have no knowledge how to take care of the or what enrichment is, I could go on and on. I visited this before when the entry fee was £1, and for that price, it was worth it. However, the price has now gone up to £5, and unfortunately, nothing has improved to justify this increase. There are only a few basic animals, and there’s nothing particularly fun or engaging for children. Given its location and the very limited facilities, the new price just doesn’t make sense. Sadly, it no longer feels like good value for money, especially for families looking for a nice outing for the kids. I hope the management reconsiders the pricing or makes improvements to enhance the experience. Used to be with the optional £3 of food. Which was nice to visit occasionally as a cheap, no thrills, trip out the house. It is now £5 an adult £2.50 for a child plus the optional £3 food bucket. Nothing has changed to justify the hike in admission price - I understand the increase in expenses of the but if your going to charge such admission the least you could do is tidy it up. The itself is a bit of a state - piles of manure, several derelict vehicles around, hazardous building equipment and materials lying around. 80% chickens, a couple of cows, pigs, donkeys goats and wallaby’s. Oh and if you’re lucky you’ll see the rats too.
