First time we had been and will certainly go again. are very friendly and helpful but their web site is rubbish and needs sorting out We went to the festival of friends and wow, what a great show, it lasted for 2 hrs, and it was fantastic from start to finish. There was good audience participation, and the singers were better than some well-known singers. I recommend you book next year, we are Lovely space, friendly staff, cheap bar A lovely little theatre, pretty much unknown outside the town, yet still a 300 seat capacity (approx guess!). Great sightlines and well equipped, even seem to have solved the usual women's toilets queue! Maybe a little tight on legroom but still comfortable. Bar prices so cheap it would make the West End weep (£4.70 for a beer and a j2o!). A night at the theatre for 2 at £40 can't be complained and the local company I saw was first rate. We visited as a family to watch A Night at the Musicals by SJDA dance and performance academy last night. The event was given by a local dance academy and their students, and offered an extensive programme. The students looked as young as 2 years up, including an excellent, skilful, and funny Dad Dancing routine. The show was opened by a troupe of teenage students who immediately stole the hearts of the audience and performed with some of SJDA tutors. Next followed the tiny tots age up to 3, and these starstruck little entertainers clearly loved dancing. The following acts continued to delight with too many wonderful moments to remember, except that the teachers and helpers made a magnificent job of the choreography, the teaching and also marshalling of so many students into outfits, delivering routines and putting on a great show. We loved it. Well done everyone. Did an interview with the delightful Scott M of Radio Burton up the stairs. The place looks like a fabulous live music venue. I always enjoy coming to the Brewhouse. It's a pleasant venue, with good bar area, and very friendly, helpful staff. I've seen many shows here. The auditorium is well laid out, so that there aren't really any seats that would have a bad view. (Although people right at the back might need good eye-sight!) Parking is very easy. Nice small venue. Friendly staff. Lovely performance space - approx 250 seats, single aisle, very steep rake and approx 7m stage/performance floor. Good dressing rooms with shower. Really welcoming and great Techs. A joy to perform there 🤗 Ran a mono printmaking workshop in an upstairs studio space. Lovely staff, very helpful. Easy access, has a lift if you need it and a café too. Great community space. Amazing venue The band I look after played there as part of Sonic Boom Festival everything about the place was amazing A great community arts centre, which offers something for everyone. Concerts, drama productions, comedy, various classes and exhibitions, there is always something going on. There is a bar and food is sometimes available ( check availability). The Brewhouse is wheelchair accessible and has disabled parking nearby. Great venue, plenty of places nearby to eat and ample parking which is free in the evening. were very good too It was a great place to go, very clean and spacious, the were all very friendly, I've been there for a few occasions and both very enjoyable Excellent play tonight. Super acting. Saw the Simon and Garfunkel tribute band tonight (31.1.25). The sound quality was very poor with the drums drowning out the voices and guitar. A talented group badly let down by the Brewhouse's sound system and it's setting.
