It was a beautiful place. Food was delicious and inexpensive for what you get. There was live music when we visited. Service was a bit slow but the live music made up for it and all the employees were very nice. We had breakfast and lunch there. Both times they got our orders wrong. The place probably had some potential years ago but now it looks more like a dying one that tries to squeeze the last drop. Can't say the people there have ill intent, I'm nobody to judge, but I got food poisoning from the food & had to be rushed to the hospital the night after coming back home. Place is well decorated & relatively clean on the outside as well as the toilets, but it's cold. The restaurant is very nice, clean with professional and friendly staff. I have to notice if you want to be accessible to all kind tourists, then you must include beef dishes in the menu. Unfortunately, the smell from the kitchen spreads throughout the restaurant and after your stay, it will "take" all the smells with you. A very disappointing experience. We are a group of over 50 people - parents with kids on a sports tournament. Some of these rooms have not been used for a long time and have not been cleaned for a very long time. I do not remember when I have been in such a dirty room - certainly, not in the last 20 years. On the second day in spite of the everything, I decided to take a shower. In the bathroom that are two sewers - one in the cabin and in the middle of the bathroom. Both of them turned out to be clogged and all kind of debris started floating around. The water initially smelled of sulphur (eggs) and I decided that it is a mineral one. After 10 or 15 minutes the smell disappeared - the mineral part was over :) Obviuosly the water had stayed in the water heater quite some time. The service and the food in the restaurant (we were on halfboard option) in the first two evenings were OK. The surprise came on the last evening when coming back from the tournament at 19:30 we found that the restaurant was full with a wedding and non-hotel guests. When we asked where are we supposed to eat our prepayed dinner, they started thinking and told us that the only option is outside. Kids having dinner in October on the outside. The situation got even better when they served the dinner - a plate of plane spagetti each with some whitish sauce on the side - whoever wants... It became a bit too long but I should add that one of the families when led to their room at check in, decided to rent a house in the nearby village rather than use the prepaid room. I do not think that I should add anything else... Lovely place, lovely food and friendly service. Quite out in the sticks, need a car/taxi to get there. Beautiful surroundings. The menu is only in Macedonian, so helps to have friends that can translate. Live music most nights. A slight smell from the river I think but, other than that, lovely. We went in the restaurant for lunch today and from the last time I was there, like 6 years ago, now it was much better. The service was fast and professional, the food was very good and the portions was HUGE!!! Now I definitely will recommend It was last Friday we went to etno selo timcevski for baked beans and fish as we were fasting, they serve us with an old baked beans wasn't even hot enough the fish smelled awful anyway we were hungry so we ate but once we went home 4 of us were so sick stomach-ache and vomiting all afternoon I would never step my foot there again even if I have to go over the border for a nice food Best place I have visited. Food was warm and very delicous. The stuff were very kind and friendly.
