They are ok, but we expected a better organisation. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very nice. Service can be improved. A wedding to the starred is something to remember and this kind of is unbelievable....the fish was very fresh but the best dish has been the cuttlefish, beets and shrimp....a delicious dish Absolutely superb experience. We arrived at 8pm for a premeal drink in the amazing wine cellar- and had a tour of the cellar with the knowledgeable and passionate young sommelier. The attention we received at this point and throughout the evening was fantastic. The of the is quite spectacular and I really recommend all visitors to take a tour of the and facilities if you can- because the only uses a few of the spaces, the rest used for large events such as weddings. We chose the “Caput Aquae” menu - 8 items- which represent the terroir of Cilento and the surrounding area. The other menu “081” also looked great but we came for the “bufala bufala bufala” spaghetti dish and didn’t regret our choice. All the dishes were exceptional, and accompanied by an assortment of beautifully baked breads. I would warn dinners to go easy on the bread as the portions at the start are very small but the final savoury course of chicken (wonderfully cooked and fragrant) is pretty substantial. Favourites were the aforementioned Bufala Spaghetti, the squid and veal starter, the Amberjack (Ricciola) and the second pasta dish - plin ravioli that had a deep deep sauce and the oomph of local sausage in the filling. At the end of the meal the head chef himself chatted with us for some time and then offered us a tour of the grounds. In summary- exceptional food, wine list and all magnified by genuine hospitality to create a superb and memorable experience. Grazie a Marco e tutti al ristorante per una serra indimenticabile! So beautiful, natural beauty, good ambience and lovely place We celebrate my best friend wedding here. The food is amazing as the is stunning. Deinitely worth a visit. The place has a unique and looks very promising. The food was amazing and service as well but, unfortunately, our lovely experience was disturbed by 3 disrespectful teenagers, who entered the in sport clothes, and their behaviour was absolutely inappropriate for a Michelin Starred restaurant: playing loud with phones, smoking cigarettes inside, showing their disrespect to other guests. I guess one of them was a relative of the owner, as it looked like. It’s been very disappointing to have our positive experience ruined by this incident. We have visited many Michelin Star Restaurants around the World and I can t imagine any of their Chef ruining their job (and reputation) because of the owner’s family. In conclusion, I really recommend to the owner to think thoroughly whether he wants to destroy his own business just like that. Three weeks ago, my wife and I celebrated at this most incredible of venues. 'Perfect' has been used to describe the reception our guests received - with many stating that this was the most magical and wondrous wedding that they had ever been to - and will ever attend. Everything about Le Trabe is phenomenal - the Michelin-starred foods; the service, the people - simply the most wonderful place that we could have chosen. My wife and I met at a summer festival in the paradisal village of Trentinara, in the mountains above the venue. Our mutual friend and genius, Domenico Monaco (a local celebrity) was amongst our witnesses as we celebrated in the what I feel is the best place on Earth: Cilento. My wife stems from another nearby village, Altavilla, and for this reason, we were determined to wed in the heartlands of where our hearts were destined to be joined. Rafaelle, Simone, Federica, Concetta - and another of Trentinara's finest, Angela; Cristian - everybody, at every level at this beautiful venue went above and beyond to give us the day that my sensationally amazing wife deserved. Earnestly, I cannot give any prospective guests better advice than to book in here: whether for dining in the achingly desirable or to enjoy your own special day; Le Trabe will remain in your hearts forever. I was here with a group of people for a wedding! What a well chosen place! Everything 10/10 ⭐️ I had such a great time with friends here! What a disgraceful place. I would score it zero if there was an option. The are marketed as a "picnic area", except visitors are prohibited from bringing any external foods or drinks and the alleged tables state they are for exclusive use for customers that purchase from the small kiosk. A that only sells stuff like ice creams, crisps, cold beverages or coffees. I.e. Not food one would eat on an all day with friends or family. Furthermore, and I don't think there are words to describe this person, but the lady that works at the is the most undesirable human being I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Her rudeness and sheer ignorance are an embarrassment to an establishment that is pitching itself at a chic level given it as managed a 1 Michelin star for its restaurant. The lady shouted like a battle axe to us from her as soon as we entered the grounds. She then hammered out in a most rude fashion that one isn't allowed to eat food there but a sandwich is fine. We hadn't even set more than 10 paces in the and she verbally assaulted us as if we'd committed a crime. We sat down at a table and opened a bottle of iced tea and produced two plastic cups. She raced over to our table and barked at us that this is a "Michelin park" (??) and plastics are not permitted! She told us to sit on the floor if we wanted to consume but not at the tables. We were shocked bit did as she commanded (At this point we hadn't even taken our sandwiches out of our bags). Another group of people arrived with an entire picnic, plastic bottles, plastic cups, containers with food, etc. They were permitted to have their at a table. When I queried why they were allowed and us not she said that you can bring bottles of water and maximum a sandwich to eat but not any brands of drinks they sell at the kiosk!! I pointed out that actually their signs clearly state NOBODY can eat at the tables unless they have purchased food/drink from the kiosk, so which is it, and why were we told to sit on the floor and the other group could happily eat their food (not all in the form of a sandwich) at a table. She replied that I should learn to read!! This woman should be sacked. She is uneducated, crass and vulgar - she has black tight curly hair, is in her 50s, wears a white top and back trousers and black trainers. You can't mistake her as she works the kiosk. I specifically describe her so you are aware of her and can be prepared should you dare to go to this place. She made us feel inferior and ruined our day out. My advice is to find another to enjoy your picnic, in the true sense of the word. There are other locations in the area than the of the Trabe.
