Franses combines great food, friendly service, and beautiful sea views — especially from the terrace. The place has a charming rustic vibe with live music and events that make every visit special. Perfect for a relaxed lunch, a fun evening with friends, or just enjoying the sunset. Highly recommended if you’re on Hönö! Decent pub/restaurant to hang out in for an afternoon of food and drinks. We were welcomed and offered any table we liked to sit at, sitting by the window with a great view was worth it. Our dog, Genji, was also welcomed here and they even have a dog food menu. Friendly and warm service, clean environment with plenty of seating AND AC! Stopped by Franses at Hönö Klova for lunch and was really impressed with the quality of the food – fresh seafood, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. The rooftop seating offers an amazing view over the harbor, which made the whole experience even better. The only downside was the service – it was quite slow, and we had to wait longer than expected for our meals. But if you’re not in a hurry, it’s absolutely worth it for the setting and taste alone. Would happily return next time I’m on the island! Really great food with those extra twists that creates something better than all the other good archipelago restaurants. Good setting, good service. Haven’t gone through the latter yet, but working on it. The rooftop is something you wouldn’t think exists in a small municipality 40 minutes from Göteborgs. The place to be on the northern islands when the sun shines and you want an extra good time. All the employees were helpful and kind. Food was really delicious and the place has a great view. Prices are normal. Very nice spot good veggie / vegan options and they even have a dog menu!
