At the very bottom is a nice cafe open till 6pm which I would recommend. The castle itself is free and you can to the top via a narrow staircase. Keep an eye on the weather if visiting as you are exposed. There is free parking and even if you don't up to the top it's worth visiting for the view. I would recommend Absolutely amazing view. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the shop at the place was closed, otherwise a nice place to have some drinks there too. The ruins are in good shape and are maintained to German standards… One can also drive to the car parking station located very near. Quite well-preserved castle that requires a bit of a climb. No admission costs but it's not easy to reach. There are many information signs posted that give some further insight in the history of the ruin. You can climb the towers to the top, which is unique, and provides an amazing view of the surrounding area. Wonderful castle great signage that will you through the history. There is parking way up top with only a 5 minute steep hike. Parking spot at the bottom has plenty of space. During the hike scenery is amazing definitelly worth it especially being free of charge.
