So friendly and accommodating for all functions Visited this venue twice now for a meal. Both occasions were great all round. Three courses for £8 each is brilliant value and the quality of food , portion sizes and service is excellent. Booking in advance is best as they can be busy. If you want an alcoholic drink or soft drink then they have a bar too at reasonable prices. The food is delicious and freshly prepared in house. Only issue is that they don't serve meals after 2.30pm I think but for a lovely afternoon meal/ lunch it is well worth a visit. Highly recommended! Great place for any type of function. Pool, snooker and bingo available and I believe line dancing. Was at a 50th birthday party recently in the function room. The party was good, however 1 bar staff member, their behavior was disgusting, I actually felt quite intimidated. At one point when asking for a drink, their approach to me was 'WIT'. I've never experienced such terrible service in my life, I'm a well mannered person so still gave the person a tip to try and soften them for the next time. However from what I can gather this person was rude to everyone. As a establishment you really should not have someone like that in a public serving job.
