Played an open day here with my brother for £12 course was glorious id highly reccomend plaging Great day at Carnwath golf club. We had a small outing there and found the course to be set up well. Greens were fast no true. A good mixture of with lots of different challenges. Food and hospitality were top notch. Definitely recommend a visit here. We will be back! Whether you're a local or visiting from afar, Carnwath Golf Club is a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts. Lovely course, lovely views and well maintained. Staff were friendly. The course is spread over the two sides of the main road and some of the criss cross over each other which could be confusing. Played this course on a very humid day. A number of hills made the round hard going on the humidity. Greens very true and well maintained. A number of challenging holes. Some of the signposts to the tees could have been a bit clearer and an unusual feature of hitting across fairways for other holes. Good game of golf and lucky with the weather. Had a lovely meal here and the food was good and reasonable prices We played this on Saturday, the Professional was absolutely brilliant with us and gave us all the information we needed, the course was immaculate and deserved it’s high rating, we paid £25 each which is basically free of charge… the young man in the bar as we only managed 10 due to the rain was a pleasure to talk with and a credit to the club, hopefully he achieves all University Honours at Edinburgh (Good Luck) we will be back and hopefully we avoid bad weather.
