I have enjoyed my Monday nights there improving my skills in painting from novice to skilled amateur. If you have time and pop in and see the good work in the form of painting, drawing, stain glass making, pottery, mandolin playing and other performing arts. Or even better come to an exhibition or theatre performance! Lovely place with helpful staff, accessibility upstairs was difficult. My mum & I were there to see an exhibition of art from a small local group. One of the exhibitors happened to be my daughter! Great exhibition! The staff on site were very friendly! A lovely spot! This is a brilliant facility for the area and always busy so obviously management is doing something right. Attended for pottery class and got a lovely, warm welcome. Almost as lovely as breakfast afterwards. Great wee cafe which gives very good value. Went to see the Jamie Baird Exhibit. Loved it, just a shame the cafe wasn’t open after. It was a Sunday and there’s plenty of other cafes nearby so it wasn’t the end of the world ! Lovely space and great to see new artists. This lively Arts centre hosts good live entertainers in a full schedule running all year round. I enjoyed Springsteen acoustics last night with bar to enjoy at interval. It's a small venue but the proximity to the stage adds to the enjoyment.
