Super amazing please Highly recommended. Don’t forget ur fika, smithing to drink and a towel Lovely place with great view of the late and surrounding forested area. Many hiking paths available. Visited in summer, with many goers and swimming in the lake. Har a hike around Stora Delsjons and it took me about 1 hour 45 minutes just to hike around this lake. It was worth it though! There are free portable potty toilets around the park. Bring a long a huge bottle and some food to ensure you do not go hungry or thirsty on your hike Fantastic, amazing and such a lovely place to visit. I went there both in winters and summers but the time I spent there in winters was out of the world. Truly mesmerizing and indescribable. As the was fully frozen and I got the chance to through the and ask me not what an experience it was. In summers you have the opportunity to as well and have BBQ with friends. Recommended! Surrounded by but still very close to the city. This place is beyond words on a sunnny day. There is awesome walking trail of different lengths, Bath, Ice cream shop and parking just 100 meter distance. Needless to say, toilets are all around. Perfekt för barnfamiljer, vacker omgivning. Beautiful and it has all you would need. You need to ul a mountain path a bit to reach the lake, but it was worthit. Awesome for a camling place, you can light a camp fire here beside the lake. Also good for a picnic, the surrounding is spectacular. Bring your child or pet with you, they'd love the and fresh air here. You could also do a bit of mushroom hunting. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter för både bilar och miljöpartister. Stabila fina grillplatser. Ett paradis tills en massa privata grillar tänds... Delsjön is one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas near Gothenburg — perfect for a day trip all year round. It's easy to reach: just take tram 5 from Brunnsparken and get off at Bögatan, then enjoy a scenic 1.5 km through the forest to the lake. In summer, Delsjön is full of life. There’s a small sandy beach, places to swim, sunbathe, or have a picnic or BBQ. You can also rent a canoe and explore the calm lake. There are several hiking trails around the — from easy walks to longer forest hikes — all surrounded by peaceful nature. In winter, the usually freezes and becomes a magical place for ice skating. The trails are still great for winter walks, and the whole feels calm and quiet. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy nature, get some fresh air, and escape the — only 20 minutes from the centre of Gothenburg. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike Beautiful destination, not far from the center, reachable by walking in the woods for 20-25 mins from bus/tram stops. Definitely worth a visit (and a in the as well!). With several hiking trails around the lake. The plase prepared for long stay there is a public toilet and clean source. You can camping there at the night. you can grill using a public grill. the hot fine sand give you a feeling this is an iland in Asia. A paradise right in the middle of the city. No other way to explain this. On a sunny day, just pack up ur sandwiches, beers and ur swimming trunks and head for the Delsjön. A nice bathing area, with barbecues and a little cafe around gives you a pleasant option to either just laze around in the sun reading ur fav book, or go around for a short hike in the woods. Either ways you will get the max out of ur time Facilities - Cafe, public barbecue, restrooms and hiking trails. Paradise right in the middle of the I've been visiting Delsjön during my whole life🏞The gets pretty warm during the summer (water temperature is around 18-23° Celsius)🌊. Since it's very "centrally" located in Gothenburg it tends to be very crowded during the summer months☀️🌡, so be prepared to squeeze in between all other people. If you want to increase your chances of avoiding the biggest crowds you'll have to continue walking along the paths which will lead you to the cliffs which are spread out in the area🗻, but again, even there you'll most likely have to squeeze in between (also keep in mind that most cliffs are quite steep and it can be a challenge to reach the in a comfortable way). As you probably know all swedes🇸🇪 gets crazy when the warm moths arrive after 6 months of darkness and cold weather❄️ thus everyone wants to catch the sun and 🏊♀️. The water💧 is dark and you are not likely to see the bottom, unless you're in the shallow parts. The "sand" is kind of oily and it can feel like you're walking in mud, so it's preferable to around rather than to around if you dont like that feeling towards your feet🦶. The quality is ok according to the swedish standards which keeps track on all swimming areas in sweden🎖🔎 There is a small cabin at the "entrance" where you can buy snacks and drinks🥤🍦but apart from that you won't fund any restaurant or anything like that, thus you'll have to bring your own food if you want that🍉🍕 Delsjön is a large recreational which visit all year round. You'll truly get a view of the classical Swedish landscape with large forests and blue lakes🏞🌳🐟 There are hiking paths and running tracks all over the place. But be careful during the evening when it's dark, since you might find yourself very lonely and therefore exposed to the risk of meeting weird people, or be hard to find if anything happens to you (just common sense). 🚶♀️🏃🏃♀️🌘 There are plenty of parking lots near the main beach🚙🚗but.....if you're not there early you'll definitely struggle to find a space. If you use public transport 🚎you'll have to during around 15-20 min from the stop to reach the (and it's uphill all the way)🏔 You can't use boltbikes all the way since they have "blocked" that area🛴🛴. There are some volleyball 🏐 fields near the main beach. ⛱️ You can rent canoes if you want🏞 There are a few spots where you can make a barbecue fire, with some benches around the fire🔥 Remeber that it can be forbidden 🚫 to make up a fire on other places, make sure you are familiar with the laws before you make up a fire. Great place to and enjoy nature. Paths on good condition, toilets and lots of place to picnic. It's a great place to get rest and fresh air. Just like atmosphere at movie. want to swim. Beautiful near the city, easily accessible by tram and a 20-minute walk. Lots of families and good facilities Beautiful place very relaxing around lake, families visit with their near and dear with barbeque dishes, beer, wine . You can dive in lake, swim...pets are allowed too.
