First time visiting here and decided to give a try as we received 30% off vouchers contained on a flyer posted through the letterbox. It wasn’t particularly busy on our visit although one side of the restaurant had most of the tables occupied whilst the other half was empty. Given the location of the restaurant, unless you stay in the new nearby housing estate, it means driving here as there are no public transport links, at least for now. There was plenty of parking and a couple of Osprey rapid EV chargers. The food was fine, I had the Cowboy Burger which was quite tasty although the fries were a bit like McDonald’s chips. It was served on an unusual metal ashet type dish which I found a bit odd. We only had the one drink each, soft drink my other half and a pint of cider for myself served in a tall glass. All in all we will probably return but probably only if there is a similar special promotion as the food and atmosphere is typical of the other main chains like Brewers Fayre, Beefeater and the likes. Turned up for an early lunch (before 12pm). Didn't know their kitchen didn't open until 12pm but only a short wait. Food was tasty, burger was & juicy and the salmon was (I'm told) very too. Service was good, were pleasant and efficient. All in around £30 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. Really surprised how this place was. For the size of the menu and variation, they pretty much nail the food and for a price. Stayed in the hotel here as well and decided to have breakfast. Its a chain bar with standard drinks. The was and the manager was friendly and to see a manager actually working the floor. We had the full English meal and it also included a continental so very value for money. Food was lovely and hot, and if we come this way again, I will try more food from the menu. There was a toddler play group going on in another area of the bar which was nice. Plenty of parking. It's good, simple pub grub. deals on drinks and food, really service. What makes Raven's Cliff utterly delightful is that dogs are some of their most valued customers. Dog friendly places are getting more common but The Raven's Cliff does a well presented dog menu, remembers who they are, has a wall with photos of their "regulars" and makes them a comfortable as possible. The surroundings are really chilled out and peaceful. A real little haven! Modern, spotlessly accommodation, with excellent facilities in the room. The Lodge and its surroundings were particularly quiet, so I had a nights sleep. I messaged and phoned ahead to say I would be arriving really late because of my flight and this was efficiently taken care of, with the night porter expecting me, greeting me with my room key and information all ready. The lady on duty at was friendly, helpful and efficient, and quickly sorted an iron and ironing board while I was having breakfast. Minor points - the tables in the pub at were clean, but very sticky. Probably a varnish/cleaning product issue that needs sorting. Also, the buffet was a bit sparce, in options available. Generally excellent overall, with links to main routes and the airport. The food was delicious 😋 😍 We have enjoyed our so much. It was very and neat, spacious place. The room we have stayed was as well. Sockets are everywhere, clean, comfortable bed. All was really 😊. We will come back! The were amazing and so helpful, Lee Ann is a credit to the Ravenscliff pub as she goes above and beyond to look after her customers, could not fault it at all. The food was and the atmosphere very relaxing. Definitely deserving of 5 stars because the gave me 5 star treatment. Highly recommended. 2nd time staying here in 2yrs Rooms are really and beds are comfy The food in the pub was again really and tasty 2 fast car chargers installed since my last visit aswell which saved me going out to find one I will stay again nxt time I'm up this way I eat here regularly and enjoy the food, and atmosphere. A particular server (Lee Ann) makes every visit an absolutely pleasant experience. Not only extremely professional and personable but she remembers every little preference. She makes you feel valued as a customer. Five stars!! Room was and comfortable. Friendly, helpful - I arrived 20 mins before last food orders. Asked if I could order & drop bags etc in room while cooking - absolutely! Would be helpful if there were instructions on how the heating worked - I poked at buttons then climbed on a chair below ceiling vent to check for warm air! Great value too, was only about £50 for the night. Would use again. was pleasant enough, the food was adequate (not brilliant), but the time waiting to be served was too long. At one point we had to go up and ask someone to come take our plates away and take our order for dessert. It's fair to say delays are caused when the place is busy, but this was Wednesday at 6pm....it was quiet. I will still attend an event there, but will not book one myself. Fantastic food and fantastic staff. John could’t do enough. Would love to come again in the future. The small play area was for entertaining my toddler. First of food was amazing. Didn't wait long and was and hot. Also fantastic throughout from the staff. Will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family We are frequent attendees in Ravenscliff, we always enjoy the food and drinks, and the is always amazing. Being regulars, the know us, and know where we like to sit etc, and are always happy to help us, very attentive. We mostly see Leeann who always looks after us. Always happy and smiling and has a way with all her customers. Overall we recommend Ravenscliff for any meals, food, value for money, and attentive all makes for a experience. What can I say, food was terrible. Fish was greasy and tasteless. Sunday roast had only one option which was Turkey the gravy was translucent and awful, again was also terrible. Other dish was hunters chicken, had very little sauce and no cheese on it and also again terrible food. Four meals one a kids two starters, with soft drinks £86 and pence left most of our dinners. Was a total rip off and definitely won't be back. Was sat at table was not informed when sat that we needed to either order on phone or go to the bar no one came near. Food came out and had to ask for cutlery as this was not brought either before arrival of food or with food and also then ask for steak knife’ as they were not brought with the cutleryNo one check to see if food was ok which I food strange as most places check to ensure satisfactory. This was the kind of experience I would expect at a Wetherspoons not at a Marsdon restaurant. I chose this establishment as a celebration for my daughter’s 30th birthday with close family and felt it had deteriorated since I had last been there. There was no hospitality.Staff were lovely at the bar and food was ok but overall experience was not worth the money paid that night Food was really poor tasted better microwave food, complained but didn't seem bothered. Poor customer service. We are only down a few times a year but since discovering Ravens cliff i don't want to eat any where else in the area. Food is always fresh and delicious. Much better than the premier in at Bellshill . The food and the are all brilliant.
