The Louisa Centre

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom Leisure centre

One of the Most Reviewed Gyms in Stanley Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. The facilities are good, the staff are friendly and the place is generally clean. The isn't bad and the life guards have so far seemed interested in the people they are watching over. My only issue is that the gym is often full of children at the times I can make it there. It's not ideal when you want to do a quick session but every piece of equipment is taken over by people who are just hanging out with friends. The changing rooms also need a time limit on them as its weird that you can go in, see it full of kids, do a full session in the gym and come back to he changing rooms just to see the same people in there Good selection of leisure & fitness activities. Good parking next to centre & free. Lush staff, as friendly & chirpy as they are helpful! Definitely looking forward to coming again to play more badminton & try the Very good gym and got good swimming 💪🏊‍♀️ also there have nice new cafe in louisa centre and staff in louisa very helpful I seemed to be the only person there with teeth? Took granddaughter for the click and climb, very limited, about 5 climbing walls so if there's a few in there's a lot of hanging around. Using the online booking is a pain. The Louisa centre has a good sized swimming and a kiddies too. It also has a cafe. The library is situated adjacent to the centre, with a customer access centre adjacent to that. Compared to the facilities offered in many towns it is excellent. Fantastic leisure facility. Clean and the swimming has great availability during the week. Excellent First time visitor and initial impression very favourable. Good range of facilities and activities to suit all ages. Brilliant venue! Staff were very accommodating for our youth project and the facilities are brilliant for all ages.Thank you to the main gent who basically hosted our visit, also a huge thank you to the two gents who were very supportive of my 6 year old in the climbing wall area, it was the first time he had done something like that and they helped him feel safe comfortable and push himself to go further with each climb. An all round Brilliant experience for our young people and our workers Swimming was a bit cold but nice and clean Cafe opened on Monday 22 July staff seemed totally unprepared card machine was not set up, no cash in the till! on a positive note when we did get served the bacon sandwich was a delight and the coffee delicious. Teething problems good luck it looks amazing The library is in the same building and there is a gym with and coffee shop. Very relaxing environment. There is also internet access available.
