The best place! Spent a thoroughly enjoyable 2 with the children to break up a long journey. selection of for the set price. Good selection of food and drink at extremely reasonable prices. Just wish there was one closer to home! AMAZING! What fun. £9 for 2 of free play arcades. There are some really titles plus some oldies for people like me. My 13 year old had fun and my wife and I enjoyed a giggle too. I went when it first opened and got to go on nearly everything, including a go on the VR gyro thing which had me exhausted after 2 mins. Will definitely go back. It is a shame that most of the surrounding shops are empty. The idea of this venue is brilliant. But it is poorly executed. Unfortunately half of the didn't work correctly. Especially second player guns and controls. The here also wasn't due to the customer service. I tried to order two drinks and some food. I was snapped at and told that there would be no more food due to the lady making it being too busy. I ordered a bottle of lager and a mixed slush. I was told I couldn't have a mixed slush due to one of the not working. Fine, I will have a red slush. They come back with a half filled cup and said that has also stopped working. No compensation for the full drink I have already paid for or an offer of another drink. I didn't let this bother me at the due to it being my partners birthday. Since arriving home i feel that there are many issues that need to be addressed within this business. I would love to return, as I think that the concept is a brilliant idea. But unfortunately it won't be anytime soon unless I get confirmation that things have changed. Booked online which was easy to do. 11am slot. Found the place easy. Free parking too which was good. Doors didn't open till exactly 11am so was just after 11 when we got in a ticked off. We were quite close to front of the queue aswel. Inside it was OK. A lot of racing games, shooting games. Not much for my 4 year old to do which is probably why they go free. Some of the were broken which is a shame. For £9 each for 2hours unlimited It was OK and something new. They did have a food counter but from friends I'd heard it wasn't so didn't buy food. Also I don't think there's toilets inside if there is I couldn't find them. Passed a few and my 3 older ones enjoyed it and maybe we'd revisit in the another school holidays but mainly as a rainy day activity and a last resort. I recently visited Arcade Warehouse at Royal Quays on August 24th with my two children, and while our had its disappointments, I appreciate how the team responded to my concerns. During our visit, we found that a significant number of the were either unavailable or broken, which was disappointing given the £30 we paid for entry. When I raised this issue with the staff, I felt that my concerns were not adequately addressed at the time. However, I want to commend the team for their prompt response to my follow-up email. Jacky Douglas from the Arcade Warehouse team acknowledged my feedback and sincerely apologized for the experience. They mentioned that they have regular maintenance checks in place and that an engineer is scheduled to resolve the issues I encountered. I appreciate their commitment to improving the situation and ensuring a better for future visitors. It's clear that the team values customer feedback and is striving to enhance their services. I hope to return in the future to see the improvements and enjoy a more engaging with my children. Overall, while my visit was not as enjoyable as I had hoped, I am optimistic about the changes being made Absolutely brilliant day out at the Arcade Warehouse in North Shields! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric. The sheer variety of was astounding, something for every age and interest. But what truly made the exceptional was the – they were superb! So friendly, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic, they made everyone feel welcome and ensured we had a fantastic time. My kids, well, they were in their element! They were completely engrossed, hopping from one classic arcade game to another, and honestly, they didn’t want to leave. They’ve already started the countdown until our next visit, which speaks volumes. To round off a perfect day, we grabbed a bite to eat in the diner. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Kelly, who was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. And that Burger? Lush! Absolutely spot on. If you’re looking for a fun-filled, nostalgic, and thoroughly enjoyable day out, the Arcade Warehouse in North Shields is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back soon! Well worth the money and more. My two absolutely loved it and had a go at everything they could. Wasn't too busy and not long of a wait to try the next game. Plenty to try old and new. Took the kids this morning(Sunday). Don't know why I've not been before. priced, lots of fun and priced! Will definitely be back again. All are lovely and helpfull. Only think I would say is leave your jacket in the car! Excellent value for money especially with the offer that was on this weekend due to the hot weather, really friendly who engaged well with the kids. Under 5’s are free! We took a little stool & this worked a treat for our tiny nearly 4 year old to help with a couple of the higher games. I came as support with the Charity, Changing Lives. I brought some of our participants and we had a time. Everybody in the group said how much they enjoyed the morning. The were lovely with us. Thanks so much. Went with family as something small to do for birthday, would have been good if most the weren’t broken and the had any social skills. Had been recommended and heard it was good but I think these people went before It went down hill. Quite disappointed as well because it turned a fun birthday day out into a frustrating 2 of trying to find a that worked. ALL of the racing are broke, 1 works and 1 is broken in some way that makes it unusable but none of them have a sign saying “out of order” you would think they would have someone come in and fix the but it seems like they really do not care. Went today and had an amazing time. Seen a few people saying loads of the didn’t work, which I don’t get, everything we tried apart from one gun worked and you could still play it as 1 player . A had crashed and I told the and they fixed it straight away you would spend a small fortune if you had to pay for every elsewhere so £10 entry is a steal it kept my family entertained for the full time. The are fantastic and were very friendly and chatty and they sell food and even alcohol The only down side is that my kids didn’t want to leave when their was up Don’t let the negative reviews put you off, this place is - will definitely return and tell everyone about it Just took my son for his end of school year and he absolutely loves it. He wants to come back again. Definitely worth the money he as he would have spent more than the entry fee if we had of gone to an arcade else where. He was entertained for the two and the prices for food and drinks are really reasonable same as you would pay at a soft play. Definitely recommend the visit 😃 Kind of a shock how poor this place was really after reading the reviews here. First impressions were horrible as the first thing we tried was the air hockey table. The puck looked like it had seen better days and barely reached the end of the table. It was always getting stuck in the middle. Some were completely broken while others were missing parts. For example, a that looked like it would be fun for 2 players only had one gun. The interactive screen that required a ball went randomly missing. Overall the place looked quite run down, I don't know if we caught them on a bad day but even my 7 year old nephew wasn't impressed. I would've given this one star but it was only £10 per person and once inside everything was free. I still feel scammed though. The session was for 2 but we left after 50 minutes. 20 of that was just seeing which actually worked.
