Green Acres is a fantastic and for the cost, absolutely worth it. Been here once before and so impressed that we had to come back for longer. Various types of pitches, from fully serviced to standard but all have the water points and EHU at the rear of the pitches. All pitches we have had are very level. Shower/toilet block is very impressive, with individual wet rooms and are immaculate. The whole is class, very well presented. Dogs welcome and cost a little bit extra but for this you get plenty of dog walk routes, dog waste bins and an enclosed exercise yard. There is also a large sports hall with honesty bar, sky TV, darts, pool table and table tennis. Excellent facility and like everything else, immaculate and well presented. One of our favourite sites and perfect for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. Owners and staff so friendly and often check to make sure everything all okay. This is a gem of a site. The pitches are good sizes, the is very well maintained, the facilities block is outstanding, the dog walk area is lovely and the staff are super friendly. the is owned by Josie and Mike who are very accommodating and the park wardens are welcoming and around if you need anything at all. The has a sports hall with a new self service bar, there is a self service small shop and laundry. The is a burger van that comes on a Tuesday and honestly the burgers are absolutely amazing. The is fish and chip delivery and Sunday dinners. There is an information hut with everything you need to no including menus etc. what an amazing, tranquil, peaceful, stunning and adult only about 15 minutes drive into Carlisle. Extremely highly recommended. Our No 1 caravan park.
