Fundación Torreón de Lozoya, AKA Torreón de Lozoya Museo, is one of Segovia's hidden treasures. It has a great collection of works of art celebrating Segovia and a with great views of the center of city and the countryside beyond. Beautiful collections of new and old pieces of art & theatre More recent art, not my thing, but with some really famous artists Quiero dar mi enhorabuena al Patronato del Torreón de Lozoya, y a todas las personas que trabajan en el mismo, desde las guías al personal de la librería, del mantenimiento, etc... por el cuidado, el trato y el respeto que tienen a un lugar tan maravilloso como es este Torreón. Este monumento, tan precioso por fuera, lo es también por dentro, con unas exposiciones increíbles, un patio, unos jardines y unas salas excelentemente iluminadas, muy bien cuidadas, y con cuadros y unas maquetas impresionantes. Las vistas de la ciudad de Segovia desde lo alto del Torreón son espectaculares, y sólo me queda decir, a toda la gente del patronato y la fundación que muchas gracias por poner tanto cariño y dedicación por cuidar con tanto esmero y cariño de este monumento tan precioso y fascinante. Visita obligatoria para toda la gente que venga a esta ciudad This is a museum / art gallery with a tower. Some tourists come just for the tower, but there is an interesting collection of works on display. It’s quite an eclectic collection. So it’s worth taking time to visit it. No pudimos resistirnos a entrar. Aunque no accedimos a la torre propiamente dicha, sí visitamos su sala de exposiciones, que nos sorprendió gratamente por su cuidada presentación. La muestra estaba muy bien organizada, con un ritmo que guiaba perfectamente el recorrido y una iluminación que destacaba cada detalle de las fotografías. Al final del recorrido, encontramos una pequeña tienda-librería que complementa muy bien la visita, ofreciendo material cultural y artístico relacionado con las exposiciones.
