A very nice place and the food was excellent along with the service. Would definitely consider going there again. Well, I went there for lunch again and to my dismay I was disappointed! First, they forgot to bring our until we practically finished and only when we asked about the salad. Then when we asked for the bill, the server offered us dessert which my husband said OK and I said I didn't want any. After waiting for over 15 minutes, no dessert came so we asked for the bill; after 10+ minutes we asked for the bill again and then someone showed up with ice cream. My husband quickly ate some of it and we got up and left. I'll think twice about going there again! Excellent food & service. The icecream with pecan pie in the end fulfilled a great taste experience :) Very nice restaurant, food. We tasted the pork and lamb chops which were great and also the pizza was also good. It was a quiet night, so can't really judge the atmosphere. Great tavern for lunch/dinner - high quality ingredients - meats very nicely cooked and reasonable pricing A few dishes could be revamped and brought to the current day and age (e.g. Chicken a la crème) but they do not impact the overall experience to a significant degree. Will definitely be visiting again!!! The food is ok but my problem is: a bottle of water is placed on the table that was never ordered. Also, a big plate of toasted bread is put on the table, we were never asked if we want bread. The bill for the water and bread does show €4.50, which I don't think is quite fair for something that was never ordered. It's one of the best restaurants in this region. We were there with 17 people and it all worked like a dream. The service was fast, the food was delicious and the price is more than OK for the size of the portions. The staff speaks enough English to order and pay even without knowing any Greek. I will dine there definitely at my next visit. You also have to say, that we were there at the End of November were a lot of restaurants didn't offer the full range of meals in that holiday region. I would give 10 stars if I could. We’ve been in Greece for 5 weeks and the food here is the best we’ve eaten hands down. Not only is the food amazing but the tavern has kept the true essence of Greece. We had the mixed grill, Greek and cheese balls. The Greek had great seasoning and ample olive oil, something that has been missing from other restaurants. The meat on the mixed grill was very tender and well seasoned. The staff were friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We retuned again because we had such a experience.
