Big venue with real ale and lots of food options Basic food place to get lunch. We had the carvery. My friends had the meat and I had the nut roast. The server was friendly and told me what I could and couldn’t have. We had a dog so sat outside on the astroturf. The food was bland but edible. Big yorkie thing was really good. Lasagna was not so good. Kids meals were great. Nice place. Nice staff. Dog friendly. Definitely go again. Definitely not have the lasagna. Food served hot and flavours to curry. Friendly staff. Lots of offers on during week. Would love to go back for entertainment. Lots of space and play area. The beachcomber I recommend for a Sunday carvery with the family, couples and friends. They provide a play park which is pirate themed which the children will enjoy and also a provided smoking area for those who smoke. The carvery itself tastes absolutely fabulous with the meats carved by the chefs and the vegetables, roasted parsnips, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, gravy, cranberry, mint and Horseradish sauce with complimentary pots to bring at your table for extra serving! You name it, the Beachcomber is the place to go when you're craving a big meal or after a previous night out and you fancy a cooked dinner and are literally full and content until the next day! Excellent. Reasonably priced drinks, value food. A lovely pint of thatchers haze. Also is very and reasonable. Great Elvis weekend, entertainment brilliant. UPDATE...Fab week again. UPDATE from our holiday September 2019 food excellent, Elvis weekend brilliant. Carvery was superb. Meat very tender & tasty and roast potatoes were perfect. A selection of vegetables with rich gravy. Drinks were very reasonably priced. There were plenty of staff available to assist and keep tables clear and very clean. It was busy which made for a happy atmosphere. Definitely a favourite and will be visiting again. Very nice place to eat. Parking on site, Clean service and tasty meals. Sunday roast lush and in price!!! Sunday roast for family of 5 (3adults and 2kids) 68 quid and the plates were full loaded!!! Thanks definitely will come back. We were staying at Warren farm which is right next to the beachcomber. So really easy to walk to for food and live music most nights. They also run a kids club in the afternoon. The Sunday carvery is value for money. They also have a full menu which is available throughout the day. They do get very busy in the evening's during school holidays so you may have to wait for a table. There is outside seating for drinking and eating Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of the small selection. I would have happily spent more on a decent steak but wasn't any on the menu was delicious, had a pulled pork baguette and chips, partner had tuna mayo baguette and daughter had pizza and chips. All were well cooked and so much filling on baguettes, lady who served us was lovely. Beer was cold and good. Was nice and cool inside on a hot day too with a nice atmosphere Lovely food friendly atmosphere really enjoyed it Been coming here for years and decided to try the Sunday carvery, we were not disappointed!! Lovely fresh vegetables available plus mash and roasts. Meat pork turkey and beef lovely quality plus a stuffing ball and chipolata thrown in for luck. Lashings of gravy and all the sauces anybody could want. Different sized plates dependant on your appetite so something for everyone. Would highly recommend 👌 No vegetable lasagne after selling me the buffet ticket Given the children's mac and cheese, doubt any cheese had touched it tasted like over cooked pasta mixed with flour and water. Just slop Children's entertainment was enough but eat before hand This place was awful, the pizza that I ordered came about 15 minutes before the other food and it was super thin and the cheese on it was like rubber. It was 14 pounds as well. The Pepsi max that I ordered went flat within minutes and the table was sticky and uncomfortable. The staff acted like zombies as if they didn't care about us at all. It was loud and filled with annoying people. The gents toilets stank of pee and were horrible. would not recommend. FALSE ADVERTISING…. Food menu online is NOT UP TO DATE (15.08.25) at 8pm prices and food available has changed food has gone up in price and availability is far less. Quite disappointed. No onion rings no garlic pizza bread either from what we ordered. In future I’ll eat in my caravan. I would phone to see what they do have before eating here 😭 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
