Some refurbishing works are currently performed, I hope they can finish soon, the place is very nice. I figured that a convent in the South of France would be a nice place to relax and pray. It is that and more. There is much love in a life spent in service to others. You can attend their liturgy and gift shop. They have a very nice guest house. This is a pretty detour a little to the south of Bram, south west of Carcassonne, and (if we understood the sign correctly) the home of the Dominican order of nuns. It is a working convent. The abbey itself is undergoing renovations internally but it is grand in its design and very beautiful outside. If you like orthodox churches, tous is worth locating to check it out. The Sisters are some of the loveliest people and really made an impact on my stay there. Unfortunately, the building process of the church is slow, because the monastry hasn't enough money.
