A beautiful course with stunning views of the Pyrenees and Carcassonne. The holes are fair and the fairway wide. It seems easy, but it isn't. Very demanding and varied. Great course in a lovely setting. Some very picturesque holes and some extremely entertaining ones. The 9th hole and 18th are great little par threes you could play those all day, if you have plenty of balls 😁. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. I only used the range, which was OK, but you need to take your own Tees when using a driver, might be normal in France but my local range provides them so I was not prepared. Beautiful and challenging golf course, with brand new driving range (too expensive for a small bucket of balls..) and a nice club house restaurant, with a big terrasse with a view on the 1st tee and the River.. I played the course twice and it’s very well kept. The course is a championship course, and I would say it is not destined for high handicap golfers. The fairways are generous, good number with “dog leg”, and the greens are fast and often well defended and complex. A lot of trees appear to have had their lower branches cropped recently, which has helped with opening up the visibility across the holes, making for a nicer course to play a on. Hole 1 and 9 are quite interesting challenges due to their characteristics. We ate at the club restaurant and had a pleasant three course meal and reasonably priced. It was such a great experience golfing in this club. The grass conditions are very tidy and nice. The weather is beautiful and the view of the course is wonderful. A group of ducks were following me in one hole 😂 The lady at reception is very friendly and helpful when my balls are run out, she has brought me new ones from the shop immediately. Highly recommend it. Very nice golf course. Very challenging but very good to learn and improve. Also nice restaurant at the club house. Possible to rent electric golf carts to go around the golf course when you play (37€ for 18 holes) Picture of hole #3 Very very nice parkland course, far better than I expected. Excellent greens, fairways, mature setting. But very hilly, which is fine but I carried my bag so was pretty tired by the end. Definitely buggy next time and I really look forward to returning. Lady at reception spoke no English which surprised me for a golf course and I was disappointed only seeing afterwards on their website that the green fee for 2 is €125 and we were charged the individual fee of €162 (€81x2).
