Dangerous for anybody who is even slightly unsteady on their feet or not wearing the correct footwear. Very nice swimming area, but not for the youngest children. Most favourite place in the Aude! Nature's waterpark!! LOVE this place!! If you like jumping from rocks into the river below or relaxing next to a gentle waterfall then please visit this place, it's truly beautiful! Parking is free in the local vinyard and only a minutes walk away from the river. Nice secret place on a sunny day. Kids had loads of fun, jumping from the stones and the bridge. My Grandma has lived in the South of France for the last 10 years and every time we have gone to visit her, we have come here! When the sun is shining this is the perfect river for a swim! In all the years we’ve been going, we never seen any issues. I would recommend bringing a picnic. Went mid-week in the summer and it was quite busy during the day! Parking is just down the road and it was a really good swimming spot. The water is a bit cold but the place is pretty clean and easy to acces. Nice place to hang out with friends, family or even go out on a date.
