Praise to the professionalism of the hospital staff on every level. I'm from Scotland and always thought our hospital system was great, however gold star goes to Polyclinic Montréal. I am still shocked when I walk out with my results in hand. No long waits or lost records. Never had an experience like this in any hospital before. No waiting, very clean and first rate caring staff. I had a similar operation in the uk some years ago and it was nothing like this experience the professionalism shown put me at ease all the way through. Hardly any pain and my recovery is much quicker. Highly recommended service. Fantastic Clinique. Brilliant staff, surgeons and nurses. The only downfall is the food. Its is not acceptable for people who are recovering from surgery to have this type of food. They need nutritional food that helps them heal. I fractured my ankle on the 6th of February 2023 and attended the clinic for treatment. As a nurse I expected a certain standard of treatment but was very disappointed. I was seen at the admission desk and immediately asked for payment. I did get a prompt xray but then was not directed to the correct waiting room. Four hours later I was directed to another waiting room without a seat. A relative informed the nurse that I was unable to stand and I got a wheelchair. One hour later I was placed in a cubicle where no vital signs were taken. After another hour a Doctor informed me I had fractured my ankle. I was then informed they had no boot available in my size and i was discharged without instructions for mobility. I had to ask for analgesia and for crutches! A dreadful painful experience overall. The care I received was excellent Thanks to all concerned Superb Excellent staff and doctor! Going for an operation I was scared but with the help of the calm and attentive nurses it went amazingly smoothly. The doctor was absolutely amazing, as expected bleeding after the procedure didn’t appear thanks to his skill. Ps.: Just one little thing, it could be a little bit quieter in the convalescing room Excellent service, attentive staff, competent and thorough medical team. Was dreading operation and expected pain and after effects. In fact the procedure rewound 25 years and to boot minimal discomfort. Marvellous. RAS. Very bad. My husband was admitted to the clinic 1st August 2025 with liver and colon cancer Today is 6 August and his oncologist Sara Faouzi has not visited him in his room at all. It is shocking and scandalous. We would like the director/manager to look into it. She is giving the clinic a bad name.
