As others have stated, this is primarily a Venezuelan straight bar - which is great… just know what you’re getting into if you make the relatively long journey from down town. On a week-end day: No music, all visitors watching a random soccer game. The atmosphere did not look like a gay bar at all. We arrived there on a Friday at 23h and there was no music. Just a football game from some latin America cup or something being projected on a screen and some people watching in silence. A scene I never thought I would see in a gay bar. Yes this bar identifies as a gay/mixed bar, good drinks not watered down (as some reviews have said), a nice mix of music and seemed friendly. Tonight i was verbally and almost physically attacked by an agresaive guy that accused me of staring at him while chatting with my other half outside in the sitting area. He was clearly on something and had been there a few hours, I walked away after telling him to back off, I run a 'regualr'! bar in London and I'm not afraid of conflict. Not wanting to be attacked i decided it was better to leave as the security guy that I had been friendly the before and that nighy shrugged it off after I explained I had not made any issue with this idiot, he simply shrugged it off as it was was normal and my problem. Very disappointed as liked the place and would return I won't be. Wish the bar luck but don't identify as gay if you permit such events.
