Great Poncha. 2 ponchas was 9 EUR. I got so drunk out of my head that I asked the waiter to allow my wife to take a jug home full of alcohol. They agreed and the party continued. Small and seating with tables alongside the road. Where you sit, of course gives plenty of space. I am a fan of traditional ponchas. This location is perfect…made with love. My visit was just a quick stop in to taste by my cousin as our tour guide. Have to be glad of traditionell small bars or cafes... I took just one beer but next time I will try something else. Anyway you can find some tapas etc... Really good food and drinks. The Scabbard fish sandwitch is amazing. Service is quick and friendly. Prices were also cheap. I came here multiple times during my stay in Madeira and I highly recommend for a quick lunch or snack stop. Small local bar, nice atmosphere and great poncha. Best poncha in town, we stayed for a week and went back every night for it.
