Food and cheap A great little hideaway where local go and a few visitors. Good prices, nice food and next to a swimming and bathing area. It's great to sit close to the waves. The view is amazing. Sitting with a cup of coffee, Wine, beer or relax with a Caipirinha. Small Menu, enough to spend hours at this not easy to find place. Thought it was an oversight at first, but after ordering a couple it was the same. Really bad vibe, don't know if it was cause we spoke English or cause we were mountain bikers, but extremely poor service. Can't rate food cause they didn't offer any. Would give zero star if I could. As noted in other reviews a real hidden gem in Funchal. Had a good lunch and some beers for an amazing price! There’s a mix of locals and foreigns that live in the area or are visiting. It stills have a traditional local feeling. Regarding the service, mixed feelings. Sometimes better, sometimes worse depending on the time of the year and the waiters at the time. Drinks served in plastic glasses, this is really bad and something that the management should definitely address in order to enhance the place and the overall experience there.
