Great place to sit have a beer or 2 and relax before going back to your hotel. Ordered fish and chips for €6.50. It was delicious, the fish tasted fresh and the batter was super crispy. Another win was the tartare sauce which looked homemade. Staff were friendly and cleaned up quick. Location is good, near the waterfront and next to Old Town Nice place and very helpful service :) right aft the big markethall is the old city pub. Ycou can sit inside or right at the street. The staff is very friendly and the fish and chips is the betst I had outside of London. There is a variety of beers to test. I love is pub, strong recommendation for a visit to eat these awesome fish & chips. Victor was our bar man and he was very good at his job. Lovely cocktails Great little pub tucked away in an alley of the old town. Needed somewhere to stop, have a break and a quick drink and it was the perfect rest stop. Staff were charming. Great bar, lovely music playing in the background we enjoyed our time here We had an incredible night here! The disco music kept us dancing until closing, and the atmosphere overall was just amazing full of energy and fun vibes. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the security team made us feel really safe the whole time. Cocktails were decent (not the best I’ve had, but good enough to keep the party going). Honestly, the combination of music, people, and atmosphere made it one of those nights you just don’t forget. Highly recommend if you want to dance all night and enjoy a great vibe! This bar is absolutely stunning, the DJ plays nice songs and accept your wishes, the bar keepers Ludovico and Vitor are very communicative and chill, we had our best Poncha in Funchal! Big recommendation! Forgot a shirt I bought 5 minutes prior to entering the pub for a (alcohol-free) beer. Forgot it on my way out. They saved it for me and after a couple of hours I got it back after realizing it was lost. Amazing service. Stopped here a couple times, while visiting the old town of Funchal. Beer was excellent and one of the best mojito I have ever had Rude arrogant staff. Tried to intimidate 4 woman together. Brought wrong drinks, when we queried this with staff member he shrugged his shoulders like he didn’t care and walked away. We were dumbfounded by their rudeness. So much FUN!!! The DJ was amazing. We danced the entire night and met new friends from Finland and Italy.
