No real information as to where we caught the bus and when asked, although given it, the staff member could have been a tad more friendly Spacious parking facility and friendly staff to guide. Parking is NOT free- most nearby streets have time restrictions. Car parks (paying) either side of tracks. Only TWO disabled spaces - almost always occupied. Horrible tunnel with staircase steps down and up - impossible if you're disabled. Newly built bridge over track with lifts to it make more accessible or if you have luggage or pram. Newsagents within ticket office. Long ramps either side up to platforms if you can't do the steps. Nice little cafe on the upside does breakfast baps/coffee etc. No undercover seating on which can be cold and windy. It's a station. Has loos and a cafe on the platform. Also a warm heated waiting room which has a heater. Also a nice over bridge with a lift for wheelchair users. m arrive, depart. Sometimes on time, sometimes not, but the doesn't control that, so you can't rate it on that basis. It has toilets that have been fairly clean when I've needed to use them. The ticket machines work, there's a staffed ticket office (not so common these days) and there's screens telling you what are due and when. The coffee shop is (but it's also an independent business, so not post of this rating) and there's a newsagent. Too busy, need more at peak times but apart from that there's actually parking and bike facilities plus a cafe and shop on site. Using the was staff helpful if I needed them. They've spent 2 years and over a million quid on a lift and walk way in the wrong place that nobody is ever going to use. The staff are grumpy. The don't run on time. Jr Chapmam New bridge is a welcome addition allowing wheelchair accessible access between platforms, however it is worth noting that it is behind the ticket barriers so you need a ticket to use the bridge. The public tunnel allowing access from one side of the to the other has steps and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs/prams. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Cool Place off the grid with everyone on a different level of "minding their own business" to the extent that asking for assistance (directions or needed speech interlocution) feels like an inherent taboo even before you speak.
