Sehr schöne Berghütte zum einkehren 👍🍀 Cute alm with a beautiful mountain view. The menu is small, but typical for an alm, with dishes ranging from cold cuts to hearty soups and homemade cakes. Overall, the food was tasty but nothing special. The pea soup was yummy, but a bit salty. The Kaiserschmarrn was quite disappointing: it was neither caramelized nor fluffy. The service was extremely slow, and it was hard to catch their attention. So much so that we ate the soup with a fork. Good place to stop for a coffee and cake. The eierkuche is amazing! A hike of light to moderate difficulty, depending on your physical condition. Vom Parkplatz Neureuth geht es für ca. 1h recht steil nach oben bis zum Berggasthof Neureuth. Dann geht es aber geschmeidig bis zu den Gindelalmen dahin. Dort angekommen, was soll man sagen, alles wunderbar. Good hiking spot with kids Great place to stop after an exhausting walk. Prices were great and service was fast and friendly. The traditional Bavarian food served here is great and the beer is also good as to be expected from Germany. I highly recommend on stopping off here if you plan on hiking between Tegernsee and Schliersee. We have been visiting this place since 2-3 years now. Very nice staff, food is quite good and so are the prices. They don’t accept card payment, so carry cash. It’s a nice spot to trek with family. Fitness level should be above average. Not suitable for elderly people with difficulty of walking in the ramp. What can be better than having a cold beer after you just ascended a mountain range to 1200m? Good choice of cakes there too!
