The truth is that you could skip paying the 10 euro entry fee and still enjoy the same quality of and just about the same grassy beach for free right next to this establishment...if you are just looking to enjoy the sun, and the company of your adult friends. It's a public lakefront. However, if you have children with you or you want peace and quiet plus food and drinks then you definitely want to be at the Strandbad. Bring your own beach blanket, umbrella/tent, towels, sunscreen, drinks/food. Everything but towels are available on site for a fee. Fresh food and cold drinks (alcoholic beverages too) are also available and well-priced. The itself is clean enough to see fish swimming. Is not a sand beach so I would recommend shoes. An inflatable floating device is highly recommended especially if you have children. There is a playground on the far end so small children can keep themselves occupied (under your supervision). There's a trampoline and other activities for young adults and children. Expect a family atmosphere, but is not just for families. Wheelchairs--Unfortunately, like a lot of other places in this vicinity, the private area isn't wheelchair accessible. It is possible, but there are no designated pathways inside this establishment. Pets are not allowed here and pets are not allowed in the anywhere in the lake. Parking is available across the street. First hour is free, however if you are renting a room in the village, you will receive a parking pass during your stay. There isn't a lot of parking available so get there early or park up the road and walk back. Safety isn't an issue here. It's safe at all hours. I uploaded some photos to give you a better idea of what to expect. Enjoy Although people may say don't pay to swim in a lake that's free, I feel it's worth the few euros entrance fee. There are really nice and clean facilities and it's a great place to let your kids run wild, without fear of them getting lost. Food is really good and the beer is reasonably priced.
