Molto bello per le pitture moderne con argomenti sempre religiosi ma che almeno sono recenti e piacevoli da vedere ,come grandi murales religiosi ma giustamente ambientati in un duomo. The frescoes are amazing 😍😍 Beautiful church, we were able to go inside and see the beautiful paintings and statues but, more importantly, been able to pray. The town is just one of the best small towns we have visited in Italy, we would have loved staying here instead of Venice! Beautiful surroundings, great stores, and the hospitality from the people were just unbelievable. We will be back and don't forget to try the amazing gelato in the square with views of the river. Beautiful church Il Duomo di Sacile, con accanto un alto campanile, è stato edificato alla fine del XV secolo su una vecchia chiesa e ristrutturato negli anni 70 del secolo scorso, dopo i danni subiti dal terremoto. L' interno, a tre navate, ha nell' abside dei begli affreschi moderni (1946). Accanto all' altare è stata esposta recentemente una bella Madonna lignea del Quattrocento, la Madonna degli afflitti. It's a beautiful church in a very quaint and peaceful town. Has some fenomenal frescos that, somehow, have been preserved rather well. This was a quiet, sacred space. When I pray there, I feel like the Lord is with me. The statue and the masterpiece painted next to it are also cool and impressive. I like to pray there.
