We had 2 Sundog burgers and a total of 6 drinks for about 35 Lev witch seemed very fair. The burgers were but there were a few misunderstandings with the order although the staff spoke English, they seemed a bit unmotivated. But in the end this was the second time in one week we went to Sundogs; meaning in my opinion this place is definitely worth a visit! Great atmosphere, service and food! The chicken breast with veggies was both healthy and delicious! Basic food place. As usual in Varna the foods arrive separately. No sense of offering food simultaneously to couple. Otherwise tasting. Only that my Cesar salad had very raw avocado bits....fresh cucumber would have saved a lot. My wife's caprese salad arrived much earlier than mine and the bread she ordered arrived much later. local cider that is seldom available. Usually there's only and wine selection. SEP2025 - casual bar, we really liked the service and location, they seem to have a food menu also. Everything was good! Broccoli in cheese sauce, spaghetti with vegetables, beef tacos, white frappe, fresh squeezed juice and beer! Light summer lunch! Portions are big enough to last only couple of hours,but they are tasty! Sure thing! Favourite place! Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, music. Go try it, you won't be sorry :) I visited Sundogs in Varna as it used to be one of my favourite spots during my university years, and I hadn’t been back in over five years. I was really looking forward to the food and atmosphere. We arrived around 7 PM and were told that without a reservation, no tables were available. Fair enough — we said we’d wait. We noticed one empty outside in the garden and asked if we could sit there, but were told that area wasn’t in use. A few minutes later, we saw another couple leaving and were told by a waiter that we could take their table. Just as we got settled, a different waiter came over and said the had been promised to someone else who had arrived earlier. There was clearly no communication between the staff. By that point, it was already frustrating — we sat at two different tables and were asked to move both times. A kind man who saw what was happening offered us his as he finished his — that became the third we sat at. We could’ve sat inside, but the air conditioning wasn’t working, so we chose to wait outside. What disappointed us most wasn’t just the disorganisation, but how the staff made us feel — as if we were a nuisance rather than paying customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to friends. It’s a shame, because I had great memories here once. The best pub in the city! Even our kids like it! My quesadilla came before my partners burger which was not convenient - how dare we eat at the same time! My quesadilla looked like a school lunch ration, but it was tasty. While the is great and the food is usually pretty good, I had to wait 40 minutes for a burger that came with cold fries. The portion is supposed to be 400 grams, but it was definitely less than that. This coupled with the price increase is disappointing. Great place with cozy vibes, warm and delicious food and great service. Perfect for lunch and dinner in the heart of authentic Varna. Big selection of beers too! In my opinion, they have the best food in Varna, was fantastic, the interior decoration was so beautiful, the waitress was so friendly and opened for talking with you. This little hidden gem of a pub is one of the best places I have visited. It offers some vegetarian options that can be tweaked into fully vegan. The is the coldest and the service has the best smiles.
