The first time was to inquire about the shuttle bus to the Chambord, Cheverny, and Beauregard. The young lady spoke great English and gave me all the necessary information. I went on my way and visited two of the three chateaus the next day. I still wanted to get out to Beauregard on Monday but the tourist shuttle doesn't run Mondays in late October. After using the free wifi they have, I noticed it was a 6 mile walk to Beauregard. I asked the same young lady if it was possible to walk or ill advised due to traffic. With he biggest of smiles she responded, "Yes, of course if you use the bike lanes." I expected a blank stare like I'd get if asking about walking 6 miles in the US but instead walked away with a bike routes map and directions on how to get started. The walk was actually a highlight of my entire trip and it mostly happened because of the friendly service provided in the this tourist information shop. They have all kinds of maps, info, and brochures. They speak great English and smiled when helping me. If you have any questions, give them a visit!
