Great place to relax if you are in Maribor. If the sun is out it’s a very nice place to visit. Nice place for walks and observe the work done by the beavers. The river must be clean that is why they returned. The place is suitable for families with children. On weekends, the entire parking lot is busy and there are a lot of people. There is a cafe where you can buy ice cream and cold drinks. Not too crowded, very nice open area, e went with a great weather so it was fantastic. Student price for a full day is very cheap (4,50€), and even the normal price (6,50€, I think) is perfectly reasonable. Would recommend 100%, although to avoid louder crowds, maybe is better to go in the morning before 2pm. Very nice swimming pool with some fun for the kids! Really enjoyable. Ignore the haters. Yes parts of it are old and yes there’s still work to be done. But it’s totally enjoyable as it is and we’ll definitely be back. Great location, good swimming pool, nice family atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Not too busy, even though it was very warm summer weather. Don't go if you're afraid of swans, though. Super cheap.
