Never heard about it but it was right next to the highway and a big surprise. Not only did we find the prices reasonable but the diversitet of the attraction was surprising. A high.level zoo and a castle with various happenings throughout the day. We planned to stay 2 hours but were there for 5. Very recommendable! This zoo is brilliant, you can see the up close, the are big, they take good care of their animals. Highlights are the red panda, clouded panther, tigers, lions Loved it. Visited with wife and kids. After french schools had gone back, so quite quiet. Pretty location and site, with the chateau. Nice food in the restaurant. Friendly staff. The potager gardens were especially impressive and well tended. The signage in English was appreciated. Enjoyed the maize maze. The Zoo is an absolute delight! The animal are fantastic, and they have regular shows like dog shows and giraffe feedings. The ice creams and refreshments are delicious, and parking is ample. The up-close with lemurs and various bird species are a real treat. Highly recommended! Well organised and maintained zoo. We saw a male and two female lions roaring together - impressive. The are close - in some cases, like the lemurs, without barriers or enclosures: you could touch them. The sandwich bar closed rather early and didn't have much choice. One of the best Zoo's. Not the biggest or fanciest but lot's of that can be watched very closely. Very nice atmosphere. A super zoo in beautiful surroundings. We took our 6 year old here on a weekday in August. The zoo was busy but not overly so and you could easily find space to see the animals. They all looked well cared for and relaxed. There was a restaurant and the food looked good and reasonable. We didn't go round the chateau but the grounds were a really nice walk. area with bouncy castles. The bird show is although make sure you get there at least 20 mins before to get a seat in busy times. The only thing which could be improved is more toilets / restrooms especially in the savannah zone and the restaurant area where there was big queues at lunchtime. Other than that though it was 👍 Very nice and animal friendly zoo, surrounded by beautiful nature . A palace has got an unusual architecture. There is a cafe there and you can also bring your picnic . There is an amusement zone for children . A bit too expensive however : adults - almost 20 euros for a separate visit of zoo or of a palace . 25 euros for both Lovely day out for the whole family. We have 3 children, ages 4, 11, and 13 and they all enjoyed the day at the zoo. Yes it’s quite pricey but it’s pretty much in line with other family days out of similar things. Added bonus of the bouncy castle too. Travelled with toddler and strolle in October. This is a jack pot! Gorgeous place, good toddler food in a restaurant ( though yeah coffee is expensive but it's understandable, everything else is pretty cheap) -You can get some special popcorn at the entrance and feed the farm animals( no outside food ). Horseee was demanding the popcorn !:) -They have several playgrounds and a bonus free bouncing castle.though it was wet in the morning so plan to hit that the in afternoon. -Lots of interesting to watch, all very well taken care of and with a lot of space for them. Lemurs are so !!! -All shows start after 2:30. -For us we wanted to hit a nap in a stroller and planned to start early, then food, then us walking with him in a stroller, then more stuff. Kiddo was Soo excited that didn't sleep untill 3 so we skipped the nap ;) Views of the residence is stunning !! Good for adults too. day out. Lots of different to see, the chateau, park, woodland trail and lovely gardens. We enjoyed the bird show and the bouncy castles best. Lots of fun. Shame we couldn't stay late to see the dog show! A lovely family day out! Enjoy seeing all the different animals. The are starting to look a bit small for some of the but I think that's a sign of the times. The all look really well cared for and we love the addition of the inflatables near the chateau. A little on the expensive side compared to similar attractions we’ve visited in the past. Decent sized zoo which was good for the young children, took around 90 minutes to walk around. Good area at the end. The most kid-friendly castle in all of France! The zoo is huge and beautiful, set right in the middle of nature. There are lots of interactive areas where you can see the up close and even roaming freely. They also have areas for children with tons of games. I highly recommend it—1000% worth the visit! :) Really super value. We arrived with toddlers at midday thinking we would spend 3-4 hours and were just leaving 15 minutes after closing time. The zoo didn’t feel sad like some zoos - lots of lush with trees and plants and water flowing inside, and many easy to see well. Both shows were very good, but the bird show especially was very special. So amazing to see tropical birds being allowed to fly free and exercise. The children’s area with bouncy castles was really great, and we could have spent much more time if we had it. Really very beautiful surroundings, so tidy, no litter. And barely anyone there on a September Tuesday! Wonderful day out. The zoo is well managed, clean and the looked as if they’re happy and looked after. The birds of prey show was amazing and the chateau is just beautiful. Kids areas are a addition. Good family day out! *did try and pre book tickets online but the website wouldn’t load. It seemed there may have been an issue as everyone was waiting to buy tickets at arrival. Didn’t take too long to pay and enter.* Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
