Location quiet and pretty with swimming, walking and fishing potential. Rooms can be a bit cramped and ventilation not optimal everywhere. But the biggest issue with Weddermeer Villapark is the service: very poor website and even if you book per phone you don't always get what you expect. Also very old-fashioned regarding only giving 1 toilet roll per house (even with 2 toilets!), no dishwashing liquid (despite booking the full service), only 2 dishwasher tablets, etc. Good kids activities. This was a lovely campsite. Although it did not feel as prominent as some of the other major dutch campsites, it had a pool, and outdoor swimming lake and a bar, several play areas and much more. I would really recommended it, and go again. It was the highlight of my holiday, and the area around the site were lovely. The canals meant you could travel all around the Netherlands without stepping foot outside the campsite. No sufficient sanitair available. Good indoor pool. Highway close to camping site. Pretty expensive for the surrounding location The natural space are wonderful. Other than that: houses desperately need a reform and some in-depth cleaning, everything is filled with mosquitoes, my bed had bugs that bited me like crazy and the managers and some other hosts were racists.
