Very good and safe place to have relaxing with family We spent a night at a truly idyllic campsite in Sweden, nestled deep in the forest right by a lake, making it incredibly peaceful. We visited in September and were almost alone, which added to the charm. Originally, we planned to camp, but since it was quite cold and rainy at night, we decided to rent one of the cozy cabins. They were indeed cozy, with very comfortable mattresses, and had everything we needed. The sanitary facilities were a bit old, but we didn’t mind at all. The woman who checked us in was exceptionally friendly and happily provided tips on how to explore the area around the lake. There’s also a that looked fantastic and very clean, although we unfortunately didn’t have any wood to try it out. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot in Sweden’s nature, and it’s a shame we could only stay for a short time. I highly recommend this place! 🏕️ Would highly recommend this campsite! We got a warm welcome from Ulrika and felt right at home. The campground is beautiful with comfortable campsites. There is a swing, 2 fire places, a sauna, a (and other lakes close by). The facilities are simple but clean and well maintained. Even though there are only 2 showers and a limited supply of warm water, I had the best hot showers here, compared to the other (bigger) campsites we stayed on. I think this also says something about the pleasant other guests staying on the campsite. Everyone is friendly and polite. We will be coming back in the future! After driving on a stony road for a few minutes, you end up at this beautiful place next to the lake. It’s green, it’s quiet, and well taken care of. Kids have easy access to the water. There is no playground. Electricity and fresh water are available for some pitches. Laundry and kitchen are available for everyone. We stayed for two nights at the beginning of June. Since the main season was still a month away, there was plenty of space. Thanks to the landscape, almost every spot offers a beautiful view over the lake. We arrived after opening hours, but that was no problem: a welcoming sign explained that we could either call a number or simply speak to the hosts the next morning. We didn’t want to disturb anyone after hours and decided to check in the next day - which worked out perfectly. Super friendly host! The lakeside, wood-heated was incredible - and we had it all to ourselves due to low demand. On our way out, just a few hundred meters down the road, we unfortunately got stuck in some clay after swerving aside to make room for a passing car. Luckily, the host happened to drive by soon after and helped us get out. 12/10 experience! Would definitely recommend. Magical! One of the prettiest campsites on our whole tour in Sweden. The facilities are very clean and well kept. There is a kitchen, toilets and showers which you can use anytime (included in the price). There is a very cute finnish down by the lake, which is also free to use. The lady who works at the reception is especially lovely and takes great care of everyone :) we also spotted an owl (which made it a nature highlight). Thank you so much for the nice stay! Fantastic campsite with a super friendly and helpful owner next to a beautiful and not far from Store Mosse nationalpark. We especially enjoyed the amazing next to the with a view of the sunset! The kitchen is great and the sanitary facilities are very clean and the showers are perfectly hot. We would love to come back soon :) A really lovely stay. Very peaceful, and swim.
